Blog • Weardale Open Air Swimming Pool - The only heated open air swimming pool in County Durham and is located in picturesque Stanhope in Weardale.

We are still open and the water is lovely. 

We have a deffinate closing day of Sunday 4th so hope to see you all down here before then and looking forward to next season.

We are currently open, only 4 days left of the season and then we close for winter. (4th of september) Do try and come down and visit us before we close.

If you would like to use the sauna do give us a call if you can so that we can have it ready for when you arrive.

We also have lots of stock such as muffins, paninis, sausage rolls at a reduced price so come and take advantage.

We are currently open. If you have come down the past few days and found we have been closed slightly early, this is due to lack of customers and weather. So do try give us a call if you are thinking of heading down to make sure we are not closing early.

We will be open til 6.30 tonight for public and then lane swimming 6.30 - 7.30

We are in the final countdown to the end of season. 

The water is lovely come rain or shine. Cafe is also open for you to sit and enjoy the surroundings whilst enjoying tea, coffee, muffins, paninis and brownies.
